1. Overview
This page lists the third-party sub-processors Walrus Technology LLC uses to provide the Locanium Service. We engage sub-processors to perform limited functions on our behalf, always subject to data-protection obligations consistent with our Data Processing Agreement.
2. What is a sub-processor
A sub-processor is a third party engaged by Walrus Technology LLC that may process personal data in the course of providing part of the Service, such as hosting or payment processing. We remain responsible to our customers for the performance of our sub-processors.
3. Current sub-processors
Amazon Web Services — cloud hosting and storage (United States and EU regions).
Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, DNS and edge security (global).
Stripe, Inc. — payment processing for paid plans (United States).
Postmark — transactional email delivery (United States).
Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics (European Union).
4. Safeguards
Before engaging a sub-processor we assess its security and privacy practices and put in place a written contract requiring appropriate technical and organizational measures and, where relevant, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
5. Changes and notification
We may update this list as the Service evolves. When we add or replace a sub-processor that processes customer personal data, we will update this page and, where required, notify customers in advance.
6. Objecting to a change
If you have a reasonable, data-protection-based objection to a new sub-processor, contact us at [email protected] within the notice period and we will work with you in good faith to address the concern.
7. Contact
