Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') sets out the rules for using the Locanium Service provided by Walrus Technology LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service, and violating it may lead to suspension or termination.

You may not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, send spam, or engage in fraudulent or deceptive activity. You may not use the Service to harass, endanger or unlawfully surveil any individual.

You must stay within the rate limits and volume of your plan and must not attempt to circumvent them by using multiple accounts or keys. Automated scraping designed to replicate our datasets, or reselling raw responses as a competing data product, is prohibited.

You may not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, breach authentication or security measures, or access data not intended for you. Report vulnerabilities responsibly to our security contact rather than exploiting them.

You must have a lawful basis for any personal data you send to the Service and must comply with applicable privacy laws. You may not use location or identity data to unlawfully profile, discriminate against, or track individuals.

You may not submit content that is illegal or infringing, or that you are not authorized to process. You are responsible for the legality of the data you send to, and derive from, the Service.

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or throttle usage to protect the Service and other users. Where practical we will give notice, but we may act immediately for serious or ongoing violations.

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
